Dialekt is the Danish breweries' showroom in Copenhagen
Dialekt is a beer bar in Vesterbro with 12 carefully selected Danish beers on tap. The selection is put together by beer sommelier Rasmus, who specializes in Danish beers and the Danish brewing landscape. On tap you will find beers from both new, emerging microbreweries and from the more established names from all over Denmark. The selection changes continuously, so there is always something new to discover.

This is what guests ask about
Dialect is on Victoria Street 1, 1655 Copenhagen V – close to Vesterbrogade and within walking distance of Copenhagen Central Station. Here you will find our cozy beer bar in the middle of Vesterbro, where we exclusively serve beer from Danish breweries.
Dialekt is a beer bar with a 100% focus on Danish beer. We want to showcase the breadth of the Danish brewing scene and make both new and established breweries accessible to more people. That's why we offer 12 changing Danish beers on tap as well as a wide selection of cans and bottles, which can be enjoyed at the bar or taken home.
We serve exclusively beer from Danish breweries. Every month we focus on one selected brewery, such as Brewery of the Month, which means, among other things, new beers on tap and events where you can get closer to the brewery and the people behind it.
Previously, we have featured breweries such as Observatoriet, Bad Seed Brewing, Esbjerg Bryghus, Fanø Bryghus, Thyras Bryg, Lille Holmgård Bryghus, SKØL, Ebeltoft Gårdbryggeri, Thurø Bryghus and Bicycle Brewing. We continuously follow the development of Danish beer and collaborate closely with both small, new producers and more established Danish microbreweries.
Yes, Dialekt offers beer tastings in Vesterbro for groups of 6 to 35 people. A beer tasting consists of five carefully selected Danish beers and takes you on a tour of beer styles, brewing processes and the Danish brewing scene. The tasting is conducted by a beer sommelier or brewer and is tailored to the group's interests and experience with beer. Prices start at 225 DKK per person.
Yes, we always have a wide selection of non-alcoholic beers from Danish breweries. We also offer various soft drinks from Danish producers, so there is also something exciting to choose from without alcohol.
Yes. Although Danish beer is our specialty, we also offer a carefully selected range of Danish whisky and cider. Wine is the only exception to our Danish beverage range, and we serve both red wine, white wine and rosé by the glass.
Yes, we accept table reservations for groups of at least 6 people. The table must be booked no later than 48 hours before the visit via the booking form here on the website.
There is always something new happening at Dialekt. Every month we invite Brewery of the Month for tap takeovers and “Meet the Brewer”, where you can taste selected beers and meet the people behind them. We also hold monthly music bingo with changing themes and pub quizzes approximately every three weeks.
In addition, the calendar offers seasonal beer events such as Black Friday, Beer Enthusiasts' Day and Copenhagen Beer Week – plus the other beer releases, tastings and more or less quirky inventions we come up with along the way.
Yes, definitely. At Dialekt, international guests can experience the breadth of Danish beer and get an introduction to both new microbreweries and established Danish names. We are happy to share our knowledge, help find the right beer and of course also serve in English.
Yes, you can put together your own tasting board with four different Danish draft beers from our changing selection. The beers are served on our unique tasting boards, so you can explore several different beer styles and breweries at your own pace. The tasting board is perfect if you are curious about Danish beer or just have a hard time choosing just one from the taps.
A tasting board costs 160,- and can be ordered directly at the bar.
