About us
Dialegd first opened its doors in December 2013 as a dedicated Refsvindinge bar. The atmosphere was informal, the beers were unique and the bar quickly became a cult bar on the Copenhagen beer scene.
In 2021, Julie Jordan took over the bar and transformed Dialegd into a beer bar with a focus on the Danish craft beer scene. The goal became to spread as many Danish beer dialects to Copenhageners.
In the summer of 2025 it was time to hand the depeche over to us, Kasper and Rasmus. With great respect for the history of the place and Julie's efforts, we chose to continue the DNA of the place with our touch. It is with this in mind that we chose to change the name of the bar from Dialegd to Dialekt, a name that both honors the history, but also leaves our mark.
The vision
We dream of creating a showroom for Danish breweries, where we can showcase what Danish brewers are capable of and work with. A place where smaller and independent breweries always have a place on tap and where our guests are always greeted with a beer at eye level, passion and respect for the beer. We consider ourselves beer ambassadors, a brewer and a beer sommelier who have formed a partnership to build a bridge between the breweries and the guests.
The atmosphere
Dialekt is intended to make you feel at home. It should be a homely warmth, a present presence mixed with good humor and high ceilings. As a cozy pub in central Copenhagen should be. We shape the place with personality and small quirky details.
Our hospitality and service are at eye level, the music is characterized by rock music from the 80s, 90s and up to today with detours to other periods, and is always an expression of the bartender behind the bar that evening. The beer is specially selected from Danish microbeer producers who put their heart and soul into every brew.
Who are we?
Rasmus
Rasmus is the driving force and the heart behind the bar. An experienced beer sommelier with 12 years of experience in the restaurant industry, where the watchword in all respects has been hospitality and a good guest experience. He is driven by taste, storytelling and a good experience. He is best described as a warm, loving, down to earth, Jutland innkeeper, everyone is welcomed with a huge smile and a “HELLO”. With his deep and nerdy knowledge of the history of beer and the ability to make the taste come alive, he ensures that the beer selection is always varied and interesting.
Casper
Kasper is probably best known as one of the three founding Kaspers from Kasper Brew Co, which of course always has its place on the taps in dialect. He is an innovative creator, with a keen eye for experience. The passion for beer is mixed with the ability to always create a good atmosphere. Kasper is a passionate music lover and also uses music in the naming of his beer releases. You will find Kasper behind the bar once or twice a week, always ready with bad jokes, lots of charm, and deep insight into the world of beer. Kasper is the type of person who is always juggling ideas, energy and always ensuring the guests have the best possible experience.
For us, beer is not just something you drink, it is craftsmanship, culture and history.
